Located inside a restored 15th-century palace in the heart of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, Stara Loza has been proudly featured in the Michelin Guide since 2017.

Our restaurant offers three distinct dining settings:

a street-level terrace on Prijeko Street, ideal for brunch and light lunch

an elegant third-floor salon, intimate and scenic

and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views over Dubrovnik’s rooftops and the sunset sky.

Our kitchen blends Mediterranean flavours with modern techniques, using local and seasonal ingredients. Every detail, from the interior to the plate, is crafted to delight all the senses.

High above the historic streets of Dubrovnik, our rooftop offers just 14 seats each evening for a refined dining experience unlike any other. Watch the sun set over the terracotta skyline and the Adriatic while enjoying a curated culinary journey.

SALON
Located on the third floor of the historic Prijeko Palace, Stara Loza Salon is a hidden sanctuary where fine dining unfolds amidst the quiet splendour of art, history and light.
Beneath grand, handcrafted chandeliers and bold contemporary artworks, every detail speaks of character and intention. As the golden hour spills through the Gothic windows and brushes the rooftops of Dubrovnik, the room gathers warmth, not only from the view, but from the stories shared over each plate. Thoughtfully climate-controlled, the salon invites you to linger, unhurried and immersed, in a setting designed to stir both palate and soul.

WINE CELLAR
In earlier times, almost all old palaces had their own water supply. Usually under the building, huge water tanks were built. They were filled with water in the wet seasons for the purpose of use in the dry seasons. Beautifully carved sinks were placed in the entrance of the house. Less fortunate people, for their water supply, had to go to one of the many fountains in the city. At those times and still today these fountains deliver fresh and pure water for thirsty people. The tank of Prijeko Palace has a ground floor of about 16 m2 and is 3 till 4 meter high. The tank is completely arched.
Nowadays the water tank is used as wine cellar. The capacity of the cellar is about 2.000 bottles of wine. You can have a look in the cellar and choose the wine you'd like to have. It is also possible to buy some bottles to take home. In the wine cellar you'll find some special wines for special occasions but most of the wines are house wines with a common feature: an excellent price - quality rate. Take a look at our wine list.

PRIJEKO STREET TERRACE

Nestled at street level in front of Prijeko Palace, our open-air terrace captures the pulse of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, where the scent of stone, sea and rosemary drifts through sunlit mornings and warm Mediterranean evenings.

Start your day with a leisurely brunch, then return for seasonal à la carte dishes crafted with local ingredients and a touch of coastal elegance. Surrounded by the sounds of the alleyways and the hum of conversation, this is where food, place and moment come together.
