Planning your stay at Prijeko Palace? Below you'll find answers to the questions we hear most often, from booking and arrival to dining and accessibility. If you don't find what you're looking for, our reception team is always happy to help.
You can book securely through our official website or contact reception with your dates and the number of guests. When you book directly, our team can advise you on the accommodation that best suits your stay. If your preferred dates appear unavailable online, contact us and we will check possible alternatives.
Prijeko Palace has eight individually designed guest rooms and one Family Apartment. The accommodation categories are Double Room, Comfort Deluxe, Superior and Family Apartment. Each guest room accommodates a maximum of two people, while the Family Apartment accommodates up to four. All rooms have a private semi-open bathroom, and the apartment has two private semi-open bathrooms.
Rooms 101, 102, 103, 204 and 401 can be prepared with one double bed or two single beds. Please request a twin setup when booking. The arrangement is guaranteed only after reception has confirmed it in writing.
Children are welcome and count towards the maximum occupancy of the selected accommodation: two guests per room and four guests in the Family Apartment. One baby cot is available for the property, subject to availability and room suitability. Extra beds are not available, so please contact reception before booking to confirm the correct arrangement.
The Family Apartment offers the same core amenities as the guest rooms, accommodates up to four people and has two private semi-open bathrooms. Its access is more demanding: guests must climb 17 steps to reach the lift level and approximately 20 additional steps to reach the apartment. Please contact reception before booking if anyone in your party has reduced mobility.
Prijeko Palace is located in a historic building and does not have step-free access. Guests must climb 17 steps from street level to reach the lift, which starts on the first floor rather than at ground level. The Family Apartment requires approximately 20 additional steps. The property is therefore not suitable for wheelchair access; please contact reception before booking if anyone in your party has reduced mobility.
Prijeko Palace is in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town, where the surrounding streets can be lively, especially in high season. Rooms 301, 204 and 103 are generally on the quieter side, while rooms 102 and 203 face Prijeko Street. Room allocation is handled automatically, but reception will try to adjust it when a special request is received. A specific room or complete silence cannot be guaranteed.
Yes. All guest rooms and the Family Apartment have air conditioning. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available and reliable throughout the accommodation.
Smoking is not permitted inside the hotel or its accommodation. Pets are not accepted. Guests travelling with a recognised assistance dog should contact reception before booking so the appropriate arrangements can be confirmed. Smoking rules for the restaurant's outdoor areas are set separately by Stara Loza.
Prijeko Palace is on Prijeko Street at numbers 22-24, inside Dubrovnik's pedestrian Old Town. From the Pile Gate drop-off point, turn left by Restaurant Festival, climb five steps and turn right into Prijeko Street; the hotel is approximately halfway along the street. Please use the verified map pin and walking directions in your pre-arrival message, as navigation apps may suggest routes with unnecessary stairs.
The Old Town is a pedestrian zone, so vehicles cannot reach Prijeko Palace and the hotel does not have on-site parking. We recommend the Public Garage Ilijina Glavica. Ask the garage for a daily ticket when you arrive; otherwise, hourly charges may apply. Parking is limited in high season, so allow extra time.
Yes. Reception can arrange a private airport transfer with advance notice. The current price is EUR 65 for up to two guests in a Mercedes car and EUR 75 for three or more guests in a Mercedes van. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled arrival.
Reception is open from 07:00 to 23:00. If you expect to arrive after 23:00, contact us in advance so we can arrange self check-in and provide personalised instructions. If your flight or journey is delayed on the day of arrival, use the contact details in your booking confirmation to notify the hotel as soon as possible.
Check-in is from 14:00, and check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out may be possible depending on availability, but they must be confirmed by reception and should not be assumed. If your room is not ready when you arrive, we can store your luggage.
Yes. Hotel guests may leave their luggage in our designated storage area before check-in and after check-out. Please tell reception approximately when you plan to arrive or collect your bags, particularly if this is close to the end of reception hours.
Yes. Reception can arrange porter assistance for the walk through the Old Town. The current charge is EUR 13 per piece of luggage on weekdays and EUR 26 per piece at weekends, payable to the hotel by cash or card. Breakfast is included in most reservations, except when a Room Only rate is booked; your confirmation states what is included. It is served from 08:00 to 11:00 on Stara Loza's street-level terrace. Public brunch follows from 11:00 to 15:00. If breakfast is not included, it can be added at reception for EUR 18 per person. Guests whose rate includes breakfast and who leave before 08:00 may request a breakfast box with a sandwich, bottled water and seasonal fruit; it is prepared the night before and available at reception by 22:00.
Yes. Stara Loza, our Michelin Guide Recommended restaurant, is located within Prijeko Palace and includes the street-level terrace, the indoor Salon and the rooftop. Hotel guests receive a 20% discount on food and beverages when dining in the restaurant, including the rooftop; the discount does not apply to drinks-only visits. Half-board can be added for EUR 50 per person, is served from 18:00 at street level and requires a reservation.
The rooftop is an intimate fourteen-seat dinner experience with a set menu and panoramic Old Town views. There are two evening seatings, at 18:45 and 21:00, and each dinner lasts two hours. Seasonal prices and the EUR 30 deposit are shown during booking. Reserve through the dedicated rooftop page or ask reception for assistance; hotel guests receive a 20% dining discount.
The rooftop has movable glass walls and a retractable roof, so dinner can continue comfortably in most weather conditions. In the rare event that severe weather affects service, the restaurant will contact you and explain the available option under the rooftop booking terms.
Payment and deposit conditions depend on the rate plan you select. The accepted payment methods and full terms are shown before booking and repeated in your confirmation. A card may be used to guarantee or pre-authorise a direct reservation in accordance with those terms. Contact reception before booking if you need to use a particular card or payment method.
The booking price breakdown will show whether the Croatian tourist tax is included or payable separately. The amount is set by current regulations and can vary by season and guest age, so please refer to your booking confirmation for the exact charge.
Cancellation and amendment conditions depend on the rate you book. Your confirmation states the applicable deadline and any charges. For a direct booking, contact reception to request a change; reservations made through another booking platform must normally be changed through that platform. Changes remain subject to availability and the terms of the original rate.
Yes. Every guest room and the Family Apartment have a safe. Valuables may also be left with reception by prior arrangement and in accordance with the hotel's storage procedure.
The easiest option is to walk to Pile Gate and continue by local bus or taxi. The cruise terminal and main bus station are approximately a ten-minute drive from Pile Gate, depending on traffic. Reception can advise you on the best option for your departure time and luggage.
Please tell us about any allergy or dietary requirement when booking. The rooftop serves a set menu prepared in advance, so an adjustment is possible only after the restaurant has confirmed it. The a la carte menu offers more flexibility, but guests with a serious allergy should contact the team directly before reserving. Although we take allergies seriously, we cannot guarantee a completely cross-contamination-free environment.
Yes. Reception can arrange selected celebration items in the room before arrival, subject to availability and advance notice. Contact us with the date, occasion and your preferences, and we will confirm the available packages, individual options and current prices in writing.
Yes. Laundry and dry-cleaning can be arranged through reception free of charge for hotel guests. Please ask reception about availability and the expected turnaround time.
No. Room service is not available. Guests are welcome to dine at Stara Loza; reception can assist with current dining options and reservations.
