About the artist
Dubrovnik-based Croatian artist Lena Kramarić uses drawing, collage and layered paint to explore the meeting point between inner experience and the visible world. Her compositions move between real and surreal motifs, with colour, symbols and partially erased surfaces creating room for interpretation. The work is autobiographical without being literal, shaped by everyday impressions, memory and the speed of the creative process.
