About the artist
Born in Utrecht in 1957, Edland Man studied at the Minerva Academy of Art in Groningen and developed an early interest in fashion, painting, photography and illustration. His practice gradually moved away from illustration and towards photography. That shift between constructed image and camera-based work provides the artistic context for the Family Apartment’s association with his work and its visual identity at Prijeko Palace.
